Media Center

The mission of NOBCChE is to create an eminent cadre of people of color in science and technology. To this end, NOBCChE has established educational partnerships with school districts, municipalities, businesses, universities, and other organizations in the public and private sectors. NOBCChE has distributed more than $1.6M in undergraduate/graduate fellowships. We annually recognize minority scientists through professional awards and distinguished lectures. NOBCChE serves as a conduit for the introduction of industrial, government and educational institutions to engage underrepresented scientists and engineers. For over twenty years at the regional and national levels annually, we have organized and sponsored the NOBCChE National Science Bowl for junior and high schools students from across the Nation.
