The role of the NOBCChE Nomination and Elections Committee (NEC) is to identify and select candidates who can provide quality leadership to NOBCChE. The composition of this committee is restricted to at most three (3) members of the Executive Board. The Chairman of this committee shall be appointed by the Chairman of the Executive Board.

NOBCChE is now accepting nominations for the following positions:

  • President-Elect
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Board Member At-Large (3)
  • Northeast Regional Chair
  • Southeast Regional Chair
  • Southwest Regional Chair
  • West Regional Chair
  • National Student Representative
  • Regional Student Representatives (5, 1 per region)

Please note: One (1) National Student Representative (NSR) shall be elected by the Executive Board to represent the interests of student NOBCChE members. RSRs are non-voting members of the Executive Board and shall be elected in their regions by both Student and Professional Members. Nominations may be submitted to [email protected] and must include a recent curriculum vitae of the nominee. Self-nominations are highly encouraged. The deadline is May 31. Please contact the elections chair, Dr. Devin Swiner, for any questions at [email protected].

Executive Board

  • Paid Regular Member of National Organization as of Dec. 31, 2022
  • Biographical sketch that describes their qualifications
  • Brief statement outlining their views on NOBCChE-related issues
  • A recent, color, head-and-shoulder photograph in jpeg format.

Student Representatives

  • Paid Student Member of the National Organization
  • Undergraduate or Graduate student in good academic standing
  • Must have at least two years left in degree program
  • Resumé/Cv
  • A Recent Headshot in jpeg
  • A short (2 paragraph) personal        statement/biosketch describing how you would effectively represent your national/regional constituents
  • Unofficial Transcript
  • Letter Of Support From Department Chair or Director of Undergraduate/Graduate Studies
  • Letter of Recommendation from professor and/or research or academic advisor
