TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION IN ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY

The C. Eugene Bennett Department of Chemistry at West Virginia University (http://chemistry.wvu.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2016.  The Department seeks applicants committed to the development of an independent research program in Analytical Chemistry that strengthens existing environmental and bioanalytical research efforts in the Department and University. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field. At least one year of postdoctoral research experience is required. Applicants should be able to teach in the area of Analytical Chemistry. Excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, the development of a vigorous and externally funded research program, and collaboration in research with faculty at the University will be expected.
