NOBCChE will hold its annual conference online from September 16-18. For the first time this year, we will be offering separate Corporate/Government and Academic Expos as part of the conference.  The difference between the standard Corporate/Government Expo and the Academic Expo is that the Academic Expo is aimed at connecting our students with potential graduate school and REU programs and to educate them on the value of such opportunities.

Overview

The Virtual NOBCChE conference is a great partnership opportunity for government agencies, corporations, nonprofits and universities looking to connect with tomorrow’s science and technology superstars. Sponsorship opportunities offer year-round partnerships with NOBCChE as well as significant exposure during the conference. A booth in either Virtual Expo on Thursday, September 16 provides the opportunity to:

• Interact with hundreds of students
• Recruit and retain talented scientists and engineers;
• Provide internship opportunities for students
• Enlist students for graduate programs and undergraduate programs;
• Show-case your company or academic institution

For the last four decades, the NOBCChE Annual Conference has been the premier meeting place to interact with a diverse pool of high-quality students and professionals in chemistry, chemical engineering and other STEM fields. We will continue and expand on that tradition in our virtual format.

What Does a Virtual Career and Academic Fair Look Like?

Virtual Booth Walk-Through

We will have a 3-D Virtual Exhibit Hall that attendees can enter.  They will be able to select each exhibitor and enter their virtual booth.  Once inside they will access a description of your organization, pre-loaded content you provide (such as a video, links, etc.).  There will also be an option to either chat via text or video with your representatives one-on-one during expo hours (via Zoom, Teams, etc.), or set up an appointment to meet with one of your representatives by phone or video chat at times you prescribe.  On your side you will have real-time access to pull up their resume, access contact information, etc. The Hall will be open and would need to be virtually staffed from 8 am to 11 am CT for Corporate/Government participants and from 2 pm - 4 pm CT for Academic participants.  You can have more than one representative staffing or alternate personnel.  We also will have electronic games like Exhibit Hall Bingo to encourage attendees to visit the booths.

Your booth will come with two registrations to attend the rest of the conference.  Registrants also will have access to the conference site content for three-months post-conference.
