Development Session Proposals


NOBCChE is soliciting proposals for this year's annual NOBCChE meeting.  Through these sessions, participants add knowledge and tools to their current skill-set to further support their careers, academically and/or professionally.  NOTE: submission does not guarantee acceptance for the annual meeting.  Please direct all questions to [email protected].  The deadline to submit session proposals is May 31, 2020 so consider submitting a proposal TODAY!

Apply for a Grant/Submit an Abstract


 In light of COVID-19 the grant application deadline has been extended to May 31 

The student development committee is committed to helping students attend the NOBCChE National Conference. The Advancing Science Conference Grant (ACSG) offers reduced registration ($50) and lodging support to undergraduates and graduate students attending the NOBCChE Annual Conference.  Grants are competitive.  Applicants are expected to also submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation.  The application for a grant and abstract submission are completed at the same time. As part of the ASCG, recipients participate in various developmental sessions, as well as volunteer at the conference.

Update: Notifications regarding the Advancing Science Conference Grant have been sent out to the designated email listed in your application. If you haven’t received the notification, please check your spam folder.  You also may follow up with [email protected] to check on your application's status.  Please note that grant offers must be accepted by the deadline in the email or the offer may be withdrawn.
