Technical Posters and the NOBCChE ConneXions Poster Competition

Thank you to everyone who submitted an abstract for NOBCChE 2020!  The call for abstracts is now closed.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the Board of Directors has made the decision to take this year’s conference virtual. The virtual event will be held September 24th – 25th.  As part of this change, we will be converting all Technical Sessions (both oral and poster presentations) to virtual posters accompanied with a 3-minute pre-recorded presentation.  Each of the accepted presenters will receive feedback on their abstract from the review committee and may have the opportunity to participate in one of several poster competitions in which cash prizes will be awarded.  Presentations will only be viewable by registered conference attendees.

If you were accepted to present:

  1. Accept or decline to present by filling out this form by June 24th.
  2. Presenters must register for the conference in order to be eligible to present.  This includes a six-month pass to access new monthly virtual content following the conference.  You will find the conference rates and a link to sign up on the Register page.
  3. Poster PDFs and pre-recorded presentations will be due no later than July 31st.  When available, a link to submit your presentation materials, as well as a best practices video for recording your presentation, will be posted.
  4. All participating students will have their resume included in the database provided to exhibitors.

Development Session Proposals

NOBCChE solicited proposals for the NOBCChE 2020 Virtual Conference.  Through these sessions, participants add knowledge and tools to their current skill-set to further support their careers, academically and/or professionally.  NOTE: submission does not guarantee acceptance for the virtual conference.  Please direct all questions to [email protected].  The deadline to submit session proposals was May 31, 2020.

Submitters of approved proposals should already be in contact with the committee that selected them.  Once available, additional details on how to submit your conference materials will be posted here.
