Assistant Professor, Biology (2 vacancies)

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The successful candidate will teach Biology, Environmental Science, Microbiology, and/or Anatomy and Physiology courses at the South Campus and its community partnership centers. Candidates must be passionate educators with a commitment to teaching at a community college. They must also possess a mastery of their specific discipline, a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student achievement and persistence, and a high level of computer literacy.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Master's degree or higher in Biology or a Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Prior college teaching experience is preferred.
