Poster Awards

Colgate Palmolive NOBCChE

  • Colgate-Palmolive: Since 2005, Colgate-Palmolive has partnered with NOBCChE to sponsor the Undergraduate Poster Competition.  This year, the partnership was expanded to include both Undergraduate and Graduate students.  These awards are aimed to recognize and reward outstanding research by young scientists and engineers, as well as an attempt by Colgate Palmolive to emphasize in a symbolic and practical way the extra-ordinary contributions they make to the profession. The Poster Awards will be granted upon judgment of the posters at the NOBCChE annual conference.
  • Biophysical Society: The Biophysical Society has partnered with NOBCChE again this year to sponsor a Poster Competition for work that has a biological component, keeping with their mission of dissemination of knowledge in biophysics. The Poster Awards will be granted upon judgment of the posters at the NOBCChE annual conference.
  • PITTCON: Pittcon, consisting of the Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP) and the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP), is partnering with NOBCChE for the first time this year to sponsor a Poster Competition for research involving analytical chemistry or progress made in chemical measurement science development or application. There will be awards for an outstanding undergraduate and graduate student with work in this general area. The Award will include a prize and support for the student to attend and present their work at the Pittcon 2017 Conference in Chicago, Illinois. The Poster Awards will be granted upon judgement of the posters at the NOBCChE annual conference.
