Job Description:
The Department of Physical and Biological Sciences seeks to fill a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor of Chemistry faculty position beginning in Fall 2016. 

Responsibilities include undergraduate teaching in Organic Chemistry and other courses as needed by the department, including Synthesis and Characterization, General Chemistry, and advanced undergraduate courses in area of specialty.  Other responsibilities include mentoring undergraduates in research, academic advisement, and service in relevant academic areas. 

As a member of the Saint Rose faculty, the applicant is expected to teach assigned courses in accordance with relevant academic policies, produce scholarly works as evidence of professional advancement or accomplishment, and serve The College's communities through participation in School and College-wide committees and events.

Requirements:
A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or closely related discipline and at least one year of college teaching experience. Candidate reviews will begin on September 30, 2015.  Search will remain open until a qualified candidate is selected.
