The NOBCChE Northeast Regional Meeting

Conference Theme:  NANOTECH: Novel Applications and New Opportunities in Technology, Engineering and Chemistry

We are honored to host the NOBCChE Northeast Regional Meeting on April 20-21 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. We welcome undergraduates, grad students, post-docs, and professionals to participate in 2 days of poster competitions, research presentations, guest speakers, and networking opportunities. Our objective is to advance our mutual goals of developing/ presenting top tier research, opening opportunities for talented students in the STEP fields, and expanding the academic and professional network of young scientists. Please let us know if you need special accommodations or anything else to make your visit possible. The Planning Committee and our sponsors, the National Science Foundation, the UMass Center for Hierarchical Manufacturing, and the UMass Materials Research Science and Engineering Center, are excited to host this event and look forward to your participation!

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
We welcome abstracts for the Poster Competition and Technical Talks within Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, and Biochemistry. There will be an Undergraduate and a Graduate Poster Competition.

FREE 2-NIGHT HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS (FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY) WILL BE AWARDED TO THE FIRST 18 STUDENTS CHOSEN FOR THE POSTER COMPETITION OR TECHNICAL TALK.
